Day 1: Delhi – Kilimanjaro Airport – Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park
Meet and greet with our representative at Delhi International Airport. After sorting the immigration formalities, with our assistance, the safari group will depart to Kilimanjaro Airport, housing the highest dormant volcanic mountain of Africa. At the airport, our protocol officer will assist in completing the rest of the immigration formalities then he/she will escort you to the guide and driver who will be waiting outside. From there a private taxi will take you to Arusha, the safari capital of the world, and the only place connected to the best safari spots in Africa. Check in your room at the hotel and head towards any restaurant for lunch then post lunch the group will be heading towards the safari, beginning from Tarangire National Park which is a 2 hour drive from Arusha. The name of the park comes from the Tarangire River which crosses the park and is the primary source of fresh water for wild animals in the Tarangire ecosystem and its estimated size is 2,850 km² thus there is a lot to see here. From ridges, valleys and swamps, this place has everything that screams Africa! Tarangire Park is famous for usually spotting elephants and baobab trees whereas in the dry season, one can see herds of thousands of zebras, wildebeest and Cape buffalo. It houses more than 500 species of birds thus it is a dream come true for bird enthusiasts. Post safari, head towards your pre-booked lodge for your meals and prep for Lake Manyara National Park, which is 70kms from Tarangire.

DAY 3: Serengeti National Park
Serengeti is one of the largest National Parks in Africa housing 37,000,000 acres of Virgin Savanna and is next on our list to continue towards the safari. This National Park will be taking up 3 days from the safari because of its humongous size! Apart from the huge land stretch and the Serengeti volcanic grasslands, Serengeti NP is known for the largest migration in the world which includes over 1.4 million blue wildebeest, 240,000 zebras and the largest lion population in the world. You will not be able to miss out on African Leopard, Bush Elephant, Black rhinoceros, and the African Buffalo. Here, one should visit various places inside Serengeti NP like the Seronera River Valley. It is known for spotting gazelles, elephants, zebras, wildebeests, and giraffes. If lucky enough you will get to see the elusive leopards of the park.
DAY 4: Serengeti National Park (Northern)
‘Serengeti‘ is a word used by people of the Masaai Tribe for the area which translates to “the place where the land runs forever”. June to October is the peak time to visit Serengeti National Park if you want to see the best of wildlife! Located inside the Northern Serengeti is the infamous ‘Lobo Valley’ which was named “paradise” for its vibrations. Spotting a lion, leopard, or cheetah in Lobo Valley is very easy as they roam that area! Northern Serengeti is a vast piece of untouched land with wooden rolling hills dispersed with open grassy patches and granite outcrops. No doubt it is one of the most famous wildlife sanctuaries in the world. Covering 5,700 sq. miles, this park is larger than Connecticut itself and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. If you are an adventurer or a safari enthusiast, you’d wish to forget the beauty of Serengeti NP just to enjoy it again.
